Plinn is a small app for keeping track of the bookshops, restaurants, and back-alley museums you actually want to remember — and turning them into a real trip when you're ready.

Cafés with standing tables. Boutique hotels, never chains. Museums you'd cross a city for. Plinn quietly learns your taste from what you keep — and every suggestion, search, and trip draft starts from it. On capable iPhones the thinking happens on the device itself; larger requests are handled by Apple's Private Cloud Compute. Your own key remains a choice, and older iPhones keep the built-in pipeline. Your places never touch our servers.

The people who know a city are the ones who live there. Poke a friend — or three — about a city, a board, or nothing in particular. They answer with places, not paragraphs. Each one arrives as a card you keep or wave away; nothing enters your library until you say so.

One tap from Instagram, Google Maps, Safari, or any app — the share extension captures the place instantly. Then Plinn does the research: photos, opening hours, ratings, directions, all filled in by the time you look. No copy-pasting. No starting from zero, ever again.

Type "five days in Lisbon with Lena, food-first" and Plinn drafts the trip from your saved places — days, slots, travel times, one wandering afternoon kept free. You edit anything that doesn't feel right. Done before the coffee's cold.

On the day, your next stop sits in a widget on the home screen, and flights run as Live Activities on the lock screen — gate, terminal, delays, all without opening the app. Plinn knows the plan; your phone just shows it.

Privacy isn't a setting. It's the architecture.
Every framework the app links against is Apple's own — all of them audited, one by one. There is no analytics SDK, no ad SDK, and no tracking domain in the entire binary.
Boards and trips you share are encrypted on your device with keys wrapped per recipient (X25519 · HKDF · AES-256-GCM, Apple CryptoKit). They travel and rest unreadable — to the network, and to us.
Your library lives on your device and syncs through your private iCloud. Your places never touch our servers. Airplane mode on day one? Skip sign-in entirely and start saving.
Every request the app makes is TLS-encrypted — flight lookups included, which run through our own proxy so no API credential ever ships inside the app.
